Food-grade Gold Lustre Dust (TMP Super Gold is what I used), and vodka
Start by piping the shape of the cat's head, and flood with icing.
While the cat head is drying, pipe the shape of your pumpkin along with the ribs of the pumpkin.
Flood alternative ribs and allow the flood icing to crust over before flooding the others.
Continue with he shape of the kitty! Start with the torso shape and add the wings on either side.
Flood the wings with icing, and once it crusts over, flood the body.
Finally we can add a cute face! Start with the ears and nose, and pipe a line of icing around the face.
Use your paintbrush to pull the icing inwards (brush embroidery technique) giving your kitty some furry definition.
Continue by adding details for the kitty cheeks, vampire teeth, and bat wing finger bones.
Add those little paws peeping over the pumpkin, and of course those big shiny kitty eyes! I used a bit of black gel colour to paint the pupils on white icing.
Add gold lustre dust to the eyes. Mix up some white and black gel colours to make a grey, and paint on fur strokes.
I painted on multiple grey highlights to really give him some definition!
Add whiskers to the kitty and curly vine tendrils to the pumpkin.
Add flowers! I used homemade marshmallow fondant for these flowers, but you can also pipe them on with icing or use candy melts in a mold.
Add colour to your flowers by painting on lustre dusts or gel colours!
Paint your curly tendrils and floral centers with gold lustre dust.
