DISCLAIMER for Lucie Bakes Decorated Cookies & Other Treats 

While precautions have been taken to ensure my cookies, cakes, and other baked goods and food products have been prepared with care and good personal hygiene, in an environment with sanitized equipment and surfaces, it is important to note that all baked goods and food products have been prepared in a home kitchen that is not inspected by regulatory authority and has not been tested by Canadian Food Inspection or Health Canada. Please be aware all baked goods and food products are made in a kitchen containing known food allergens including: eggs, wheat, peanuts, nuts, soy and dairy products. Once the baked goods are out of my hands, either after shipping, delivery, or pickup, I am not responsible for any damage that may happen to the baked goods. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED ​QUESTIONS

• ​How do you package your cookies?
  Cookies can be heated-sealed in cello, or packaged in cello bags with a bow. Cookies for Pick-Up are available in a display box and individually wrapping is optional. There is no extra charge for packaging.

• How long do your cookies stay fresh for?
  Cookies will stay fresh for up to two weeks when kept in airtight packaging. They should be kept in a cool, dry area. Cookies will freeze beautifully if they are sealed in plastic wrap (heat-sealed or ziplock bag) and placed in an air-tight tupperware. Frozen, sealed cookies will last up to 6 months.

• Do you offer product donations, wholesale pricing, referral rates, or discounts?
  Unfortunately not! I'm a one woman show so I don't have the resources or time to offer reduced pricing.

REFUNDS & CANCELLED ORDERS

• Unfortunately I cannot offer refunds or returns for baked goods. I also cannot offer refunds for orders that get damaged during shipping. (Please note I pack my custom cookie orders as securely as I can to avoid damage from occurring.)
• ​​Custom orders must be paid in full upon receipt of invoice to secure your order date. I reserve the right to change my plans and may not be available to fulfill your order if payment is not received within a reasonable timeframe. 
• If you wish to cancel your order AFTER payment has been made, there will be a 30% cancellation fee (Refund will be 70% of payment).
• No refunds will be given should an order be cancelled within 72 hours of the booking day.
