I rarely buy black food colouring, I LOVE to use this! It produces NO BLEED when used in royal icing, and is a natural colorant - activated charcoal produced from coconut shells is the highest quality carbon available.
- Add 1/8 tsp at a time to royal icing until desired shade is achieved.
- Mix a small amount of alcohol into activated charcoal to produce edible black food paint.
- Activated charcoal can also be used in the creation of homemade face masks for cleansing and tightening pores, and for crafting detox drinks & charcoal lattes to cleanse the body of toxins. May also prevent hangovers, and reduce gas & bloating!
