The Yule Cat (Jólakötturinn) is a mythical creature from Icelandic Christmas folklore. Like Krampus, the Yule Cat is an enforcer of good behaviour - finish your chores before Christmas and you'll get new clothes as a reward! Otherwise, the Yule Cat may come for you.
The Yule Cat prowls Iceland on Christmas night, and peers through the windows to see the children's presents. If new clothes are among their gifts, the Yule Cat will move along. But if a child was too lazy to earn their new socks, they will become the Yule Cat's Christmas dinner! The Yule Cat is also said to inspire charitable generosity, as giving clothes to those less fortunate would also grant them protection from the Yule Cat.
Cookie Cutters are 3D-printed with PLA filament.
The cookie cutter comes with a matching stamp for creating the embossed design in your rolled dough!
HAND WASH ONLY with lukewarm water and antibacterial soap. Cookie Cutters are NOT dishwasher safe. PLA is a heat sensitive plastic; exposure to heat may cause melting and/or warping. Towel- or air-dry cookie cutters.
